An unprecedented 3-year national arts collaboration with the inmates and the authors, this project provides the reader with glimpses into the intellect, creative mind, and world of individuals incarcerated in America’s prisons. Each contribution has its own voice, its own story, and the need to be told and shared. Vol. 1 & 2 are designed as a set: Vol.1 contains full-color art and text. Vol. 2 contains black and white art, poetry, writings and biographies of the inmate contributors in both vols.
