Police investigating the slaying of Wesleyan University junior Johanna Justin-Jinich discovered a composition notebook with a chilling entry, “Kill Johanna. She must Die,” an arrest affidavit said. The notebook’s contents were disclosed as suspect Stephen Morgan appeared in a Connecticut courtroom.

Police say a man tossed a 3-month-old boy from a car after arguing with the baby’s mother. Emanuel Murray’s body was found by a passing motorist on Interstate 275 in Florida. Anthony McTear Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder, police said. McTear told reporters, “It’s a dirty game. A dirty game.”
